Rio Maior, Portugal, POR — AVS staged a remarkable late rally, scoring twice in stoppage time to earn a dramatic draw with Casa Pia in a six-goal thriller.
Casa Pia appeared headed for victory after Korede Osundina's 65th-minute strike gave the hosts a 3-1 advantage. David Sousa had opened the scoring in the 5th minute before Óscar Perea equalized for AVS six minutes later. Gaizka Larrazabal restored Casa Pia's lead early in the second half before Osundina's goal seemed to seal the result.
But Nenê sparked AVS's comeback with goals in the 75th and 90th minutes to level the match at 3-3. Just when a draw seemed certain, Guilherme Neiva struck in the 99th minute to complete the stunning turnaround and secure a point for the visitors.
AVS dominated possession and created significantly more chances throughout the match, outshooting Casa Pia 27-9 overall.
