Bari, Italy, ITA — Bari dismantled Reggiana with a clinical four-goal performance at San Nicola, with the hosts establishing control inside the opening quarter-hour and never relinquishing it throughout the Serie B contest.
Federico Artioli opened the scoring in the 10th minute to set the tone, and Emanuele Rao doubled the advantage just five minutes later, leaving Reggiana with an almost insurmountable deficit before the match had barely settled.
Rao added his second of the afternoon three minutes into the second half, extending Bari's lead to three and effectively ending the contest as a competitive fixture. Gabriele Moncini then added a fourth in the 57th minute, putting the result beyond any doubt. Mateus Lusuardi pulled one back for Reggiana in the 89th minute, but it amounted to nothing more than a consolation in a match that had long since been decided.
