Manises, Spain, ESP — Valencia completed one of the most extraordinary late comebacks in recent LaLiga memory, scoring three times in the final ten minutes of stoppage time to overturn a 2-1 deficit and defeat Alavés at Mestalla Stadium.
Alavés struck first through Lucas Boyé in the 3rd minute, only for Valencia to respond with Largie Ramazani leveling in the 21st. Javi Guerra restored Valencia's lead just two minutes into the second half, but Boyé equalized again in the 66th minute and then completed his hat-trick in the 71st to put Alavés ahead 3-2 — a lead that appeared to be holding as the clock ran down.
Then came the collapse. Eray Cömert pulled Valencia level in the 90th minute. Hugo Duro made it 3-2 in the 90+9', and Umar Sadiq sealed the win in the 90+10' to send Mestalla into chaos.
